Braintree is the place to be tonight if you’re a vinophile. Actually, thanks to this event’s Twitter component, you can be anywhere and still take part as Antoine Vincent of Chateau Fuisse and Nicolas Potel of Maison Nicolas Potel head to Bin Ends Wine for a tasting of their Burgundies at 7 p.m.
About 100 people are expected in the store for this free tasting. As a Twitter Taste Live event, however, expect a flow of opinions and questions from cyberspace.
It might sound funny to suggest watching a wine tasting online. But the company’s Twitter Taste Live works by posting the list of, in the case of the Bin Ends event, the six wines that will be sampled. You can then pick up any number of the wines ahead of time, maybe invite some friends over, and take part in the tasting by watching from home. And thanks to Twitter, at-home players can even share their opinions and questions with the in-store guests.
Bin Ends Wine: 236 Wood Road, Braintree.
